Zwahlen's makes our ice cream fresh every couple of hours. We offer three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and a Flavor-of-the-Day that changes every other day, or create your own unique flavor by using any combination of our “Mix-Ins”. Please check out our Flavor-of-the-Day calendar on this web site.
Zwahlen’s uses the highest quality ingredients in our ice creams, including real fruit puree in our fruit ice creams, instead of fruit-flavored syrups. We don’t know of any other ice cream store that does this.
All ice cream has air mixed into it. “Hard” or “soft” refers to how much air has been pumped into the ice cream to keep it soft. Soft serve ice cream has lots of air pumped into it to keep it soft. Zwahlen’s is hard ice cream. To keep our hard ice cream soft and servable, it has to be made fresh every couple of hours. Zwahlen’s ice cream has 50% less air than other super premium ice creams.
