STORE UPDATES FOR MAY 2020

Expanded Store Hours

Beginning Monday, May 11 we will be expanding our store hours at our side window for take-out orders to 3-9 PM to allow for more social distancing options for our customers. Please continue to observe state distancing guidelines as you wait. We appreciate your support and consideration for all of our customers and employees! 

Local Delivery Option (coming soon!)

Beginning Thursday through Saturday, May 14-16, Zwahlen's will begin a trial run of local delivery options for $5 per delivery. Hours for delivery will be from 4-8 pm Thursday-Saturday evenings, and will only be available for our online products (no individual ice cream menu items other than ice cream pints and quarts will be available for delivery due to quality control and melting). We will be expanding some of our online options as well in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! 

Hold on Shipped Orders for Summer begins next week!

Finally, the time of year is coming where we will be discontinuing our shipping for the summer months due to warm weather. If you would like to place an order to be shipped, this is the last week for all shipping until mid-September. Please place any desired shipping orders this week (by approx May 17)!

 

 

 

 

COVID-19: Take-Out Orders & Shortened Hours for April 2020

Zwahlen's Update for COVID-19 Take-Out Ordering:

According to changes in mandates for specialty food establishments, Zwahlen’s will be re-opening a limited menu for take-out orders beginning Monday, April 6. 

We have focused our menu on select items that best meet our customer needs while taking into account safety precautions for our customers and employees.

3/20/2020: COVID-19 UPDATE

COVID-19 STATE MANDATED CLOSURE:

According to new mandates announced on March 19 by Governor Wolf for specialty food establishments, Zwahlen’s will be CLOSED FOR BUSINESS beginning March 20 until further notice. All online orders will be delayed until we reopen.

We appreciate all the support from the community these past weeks, and wish all our customers good health and safety during this difficult time!

Welcome to Zwahlen’s Ice Cream & Chocolate Co.’s new and improved website! We know it’s been a long time in coming and we are grateful for your patience. We all hope the ease of site navigation and ordering will be worth the wait.
